‘Specially for Pops,’ Capella Singapore have created a Short Rib Set featuring 12-hour Braised O’Connor Angus Beef Short Ribs ($168 for 2 pax or $315 for 4 pax). 2. CHUI HUAY LIM TEOCHEW CUISINE
Dads who love the austere flavours of Teochew classics will appreciate the set menus (from S$168 for four to six people) from Chui Huay Lim and Zui Yuxuan Teochew Cuisine.
Highlights of the menus include braised duck with bean curd, steamed pomfret, and wok-fried kway teow with diced kai lan and preserved radish. Of course, no Teochew meal is complete without a heart-stopping bowl of yam paste with pumpkin and gingko nuts.

Shang Social (香聚) at Jewel Changi Airport have a specially curated menu ($198 for 4 pax) for Father’s Day featuring signature dishes (orders fulfilled on 19-21 June). The star of the show is the Cantonese signature Crispy Boneless Chicken filled with Fried Glutinous Rice, Ham and Chinese Sausage. Plus there’s a selection of gourmet appetisers including Black Truffle Prawn Dumpling in Squid Ink Skin, followed by Double-Boiled Chicken Soup with Cordyceps Flower and other dishes of seafood, poultry and premium meats.
